o years ago I was looking up ideas for Halloween titles for scrapbook pages and stumbled across the saying "Blood Donors Wanted". Even though it didn't work for the page that I was working on at the time, I thought that it was an awesome idea for some kind of Home decor Project. Finally, I made a project with the saying for Halloween this year, and I think that it is coming out cute. A little plain, but cute. I think I'm going to do a couple more layers of Mod-Podge and then add some "bling" or something else. If you have any helpful inspiration to help it pop a little I would love suggestions.I used a Canvas Panel for the base of this project. I got the idea from my sister-in-law Kory. She made us this super cute version using photos of Ethan and I for our family's gift exchange last Christmas.
Even though I had seen these in the store before I had never given them any attention. Thanks Kory. Before I attached anything else I painted the whole canvas orange. The image of the vampire and the Bloody font I used on "Wanted" come form the Cricut Happy Hauntings Cartridge. The words "Blood Donors" comes from the Sesame Street Font cartridge.I really do love this and can't wait to hang it!
